I know there was a shooting today in Cupertino, resulting in deaths of many loved ones. However, none was sadder than that of Steve Jobs’.
We’re not just going to forget this man within a week. He is special. It isn’t everyday where an activist of this caliber loses his life fighting the most unforgiving type of cancer. This man was impeached from his own company, yet rejoined later and increased the stock by 6250%. We’re not going to see a person like this for a while. Steve Jobs’ death was akin to that of DaVinci’s; an unimaginable trove of innovation, ideas, and memories was lost today.
For all this man has done, the least we can do is to pay compensation in means of respect. Cupertino should name October 5th Steve Jobs Day, because Cupertino is Apple. We should have a moment of silence in school tomorrow, across the nation, to commemorate and mediate on everything that he has contributed to mankind.
As someone said, there were three apples that changed the world:
- The first seduced Eve,
- The second helped Newton discover gravity,
- and the third was bitten by Steve Jobs and handed down to the people.
Please pay your respects to this lucid thinker and phenomenal innovator by writing an obituary: http://www.apple.com/stevejobs/
