I was happy that my family was able to accompany me and watch me run in this half-marathon. My goal for this race was to put together a run that I would remember. Sure enough, I did come out with a big PR that I was happy with. Looking back at this race, I’m glad to say that this year’s cross country season was a success, capped off with a race that I am proud of.
All I can say is that I hope my uncle is proud of me. I’ll run all my races for him from now on.
